You’re unlikely to have ridden in tights like these.

Following up our category-redefining bib shorts was never going to be an easy task. But we think we’ve done it.

As with our shorts, the magic starts with the fabric - a ridiculously luxurious Italian-made 2-layer softshell, which combines a buttery-smooth brushed-back outer with a fully waterproof and breathable membrane to offer complete weather protection.

Not showerproof. Not ‘a bit nippy out’. We’re talking torrential rain and temperatures as low as minus 10C. In fact, anything above 8C and you’re likely to start overheating.

They simply shrug off almost anything a true winter ride can throw at you, leaving you feeling invincible.

And while the price might raise an eyebrow, consider that the fabric alone costs more than some entire tights cost to make.

DROP IT LIKE IT'S COLD

Toilet breaks take on a whole extra level of discomfort in winter - be it in an exposed field or a cramped cubicle - removing and replacing damp, clammy layers is something nobody enjoys.

We've included a totally clipless drop seat design on all our bib shorts - both Men's and Women's - from day one, because when you engineer a solution to a real problem with no downside, why wouldn't we?

And you'll be relieved (pun intended) that we've carried the design across to our new Winter Bib Tights, along with a new process that allows us to print colour on both sides of our bib straps for the first time.

It's a small detail. But details matter.

TEST-WINNING COMFORT

The comfort and long-distance capability of our bib shorts is proven over and again in the numerous perfect test scores, customer reviews, and the world record-holding endurance athletes who now choose to wear them (by choice, not because we pay them.)

But the comfort is also scientifically proven, beating 5 of the other 'leading' brands in a head-to-head test using the gebioMized pressure-sensing software to directly compare the performance of each chamois using the same control rider and setup.

Made exclusively for us in Italy, our chamois features a 4-layer construction combining three types of memory foam, plus a unique aloe-infused microfibre top surface designed to be used without chamois cream.

It might sound like marketing pseudo-science - and it doesn't work for everyone - but for most people, it's a game changer, especially for multi-day rides where applying creams can be tricky.

A CLASS OF ONE

Getting these tights right has been our biggest technical challenge to-date.

The fabric has never been used for tights before, and despite being incredibly soft and comfortable, it's also stiffer with less stretch than the typical fabric used for most tights.

But these aren't most tights.

We've settled on a highly articulated design more akin to motorcycle leathers, with a small panel of thinner material behind the knee to allow full articulation.

It's technically impossible to make them fit perfectly around the knee for every body shape, meaning you might find some excess material while standing.

However, we guarantee that it won't rub, or affect the performance. And the performance is what sets these tights in a class of their own.

Built for those who want to push their winter rides even further, our Cargo version adds two brushed-back pockets (which double as hand warmers in an emergency!)
