Of course, it's not really as simple as that. But for riders who prefer the freedom and versatility of shorts - even when the weather has other ideas - our new Winter Bib Shorts set a high water mark for comfort, protection and performance.

#EDIT013 also features a new batch of our completely redesigned Leg Warmers, which sold out the first time around.

Preorders open at midday (GMT) Friday 30th October. Orders will be delivered to customers from mid-January 2027.

Most 'winterised' fabrics rely solely on a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, which allows water to bead up on the surface instead of soaking through. But it has limited capability to deal with prolonged or heavy rain, and a need for regular re-proofing to perform at its best.

The two-layer fabric we are using for our Winter Bib Shorts combines a rugged softshell outer (including a Fluorine and PFAS-free DRW coating) with full Windtex® membrane technology. The latter features a soft-touch brushed back on the skin side, for comfort, warmth and breathability.

For an added touch of foul weather luxury, we've also added an extra-high waist panel using offcuts of the fabric used for our summer Bib Shorts (itself described by one reviewer as 'the nicest thing I've ever put next to my skin').

The overall effect feels a bit like donning a suit of armour, albeit one engineered in Savile Row.

Whatever the weather, you'll simply want to keep riding for longer.

The most important question on the lips of riders familiar with our bib shorts will likely be 'does it share the same chamois?'

Rest assured, the answer is yes.

Likewise our propietary clipless dropseat.

Despite featuring an extra-high waistband, we've made sure that every call of nature can still be answered - important at the best of times, but especially so in the cold, wet and windy conditions these bibs will mostly see.

The Winter Bib Shorts will be available in both Cargo and non-Cargo versions, with all versions featuring the limited edition strap design created for Dr. Sarah Ruggins' One Way North world record.

Having instantly sold out of our first batch of our completely revised full-length Leg Warmers, they return for a second batch for Winter 26/27.
