We're using true next-gen technical fabric for our gilet.

Polartec® Power Shield™ RPM is a high-stretch 2-layer recycled fabric that’s waterproof, with category-leading breathability and no harmful PFAS.

Performance is exceptional at both ends of the scale - as a windstopper in freezing conditions or to keep windchill at bay on wet days well into double-digit temperatures.

Aside from the exceptional weather protection, it's also printable, meaning eye-catching colours without the need for dyes.

Finally, its mono-material design makes it fully recyclable at the end of its life.

How many pockets is too many?

The answer is six - the hand pockets from proto 1 didn't quite make it to production. (Yet.)

We think you'll appreciate the four that did make it, including a zipped double-width rear cargo pocket that also doubles as a fully lined and waterproof stuff sack for when it's not in use.

Using a double layer of the Polartec® Power Shield™ RPM for extra insulation on the chest made adding two zipped pockets (perfectly-sized for a Brevet card) easy.

We've also added a protective flap over the phone pocket, which stops the rain getting in and your valuables from accidentally getting out.
